Joshua Holland: “Most people who don’t live there probably think of Iowa as an agricultural state, with miles and miles of corn and soybeans lining razor-straight highways. But that’s totally untrue. Agriculture and forestry make up less than 4 percent of Iowa’s economic output. Manufacturing represents 22 percent – almost double the national share.”
