Google+: Love it or leave it.
In the current wave of “Facebook changed some things, I’m leaving,” it’s worth remembering that Google is also a provider of services (not all of which are the ones you’re not paying for), an organization with an agenda that may not coincide with your own. Some less corporate alternatives: rstat.us, identi.ca, Diaspora.
